Jillian Michaels Diet Overview

Jillian's diet has received astronomical attention since her role as a strength trainer and life coach for the 1st and 2nd season of NBC's hit reality series "The Biggest Loser" where she helped people just like you lose an astonishing amount of weight. Jillian has over 17 years of fitness experience and her program incorporates the best of kick boxing, yoga, Pilates, plyometrics, and weight training to maximize results. The Jillian Michaels website is currently offering a free weight loss plan (subject to change at any time). We won't provide Jillian's biography here but you can find out more information about her accomplishments at wikipedia.

How Does The Jillian Michaels Diet Work?

Jillian Michaels PictureJillian Michaels created a "triple-threat" approach to losing weight by focusing on three key elements. Self, Science, and Sweat.

The self aspect of this diet focuses on how to change your behaviors to reach your goals. During this phase you are provided with Jillian's Seven Steps to Behavioral Modification which includes endless motivational support by both Jillian and a community of other weight-loss buddies who share your same goals.

The Science aspect shows you how to eat right for your metabolism. This step will open your mind to healthy slimming recipes and meal plans for your body type.

The Sweat aspect of this diet gets you straight into the grind with cardio workouts that focus on your trouble zones, printable exercises you can do from home, and more. Combining all three elements has proven to help real weight loss for real people, just like you.

Conclusion

There is no question about the validity of the Jillian Michaels diet. Millions of Americans witnessed the transformation of several overweight contestants under the guidance and support of Jillian and Bob Harper. The most notable contestant and success story was Kelly Minner who lost an amazing 92 pounds following Jillian's methods. Now, all dieters have access to the same level of encouragement as the contestants on the show with Jillian Michaels online.

Totally not worth the price! $52 for three months and most of what you get is stuff you can find online for free (workouts and food plan). I really like Jillian Michaels DVDs but the online website is waaay overpriced!!

I absolutely love jillian Michaels work out videos, her web site an all her products. They are all very effective. I do have one question. Why is the acai berry power packets no longer available? That was a great product.

I just recently signed up with Jillian Michaels online, but I love it already. And no, I don't usually use her receipes, but just the ideas she gives makes shopping and cooking easier. I love the food log and fitness diary. They are PERFECT. And pretty much worth the $3.49 a week themselves.

It never would load, it was all informarion you could get on the interent. I didn't like it for the amount of money it was charging on my credit card. Has already charged over $200 and i've been on it once. Every time I call to cancel they say that they cannot locate my account. It's SO frustrating!! I'm tired of being charged all this money for something that sucks!!

I find the exercises are not that well explained, illustrated. She should have a little video just demonstrating the execution of the exercise. The meal plans are "nice and fancy", but I wish they offered a plan that could be really used for a normal person who cooks at home and is not going to cook so many different dishes in a week. But what I really disliked was that it is very very easy to sign up, but not so easy to cancel the program! For me, that is a practice of websites that want to trick you. You can do everything online, but to cancel you need to call some phone number, during business hours.

Not sure what Sally is talking about. If you read everything when you sign up there shouldn't be any surprises. Been following the online plan for almost 2 months and the program has been working fine for me. I'm still motivated.

Is there a vegetarian option for her meal plan? I'm interested in checking out the site, but don't want to sign up if there isn't a vegetarian option! Thanks!
