My reason is always the same – chocolate! It’s so addicting. If it’s not in the house I won’t go out of my way for it but I end up buying it when I am out. I lost about 80 pounds last time and put on about 20 since then, probably in the last 5-6 years. I want to get rid of it before that number grows.
ReplyI quit my last diet because it wasn’t working. Now I’m concentrating on getting healthy, yoga, walking and hopefully working with shake weights!!! I lost my job so this is the PERFECT time!!!

ReplyAs soon as we go out to a restraunt, I ditch my diet. I’d be fine if I never had to eat outside my own home ever again.
ReplyI just love trying new foods, and new types of dishes at restaurants, and then making those new foods at home. That and the fact that the fatty, easy to make, convenient foods are always on sale at the store.
ReplyI quit because it was so limiting, I hated it. Now I’m walking and watching what I eat, but not to the extreme.
ReplyQuit my last diet (Low Carb) because I began feeling unwell…the diet was working but my energy level had gone down drastically..later found out it wasn’t the diet but from a prescription
ReplyIt has been a bit of a catch-22, I have had some health problems, and when I cut back on eating I tend to get sick. So I overeat (to an extent), of course if I ate healthier and could get over this hump my immune system and overall health would improve and counteract that.
ReplyI started working a new job and found myself too busy. Thats no excuse and recently I started working out and buying and preparing healthy foods again.
ReplyI quit my last diet because I got bored with it.
ReplyI quitted because my boyfriend is always taking me out to eat. It’s hard to stay on a diet when you have so many delicious foods to try!
ReplyI quit recently because work got really busy and there just wasn’t enough time to keep up the proper eating and exercising.
ReplyI quit last time because I just felt that I couldn’t keep up doing it with all of the other things happening in my life at the time (college, work and family).
I think I’m ready to give it a go again though, for good this time!
ReplyI quit my last diet because my nightly sweet tooth was overwhelming
ReplyI quit my last diet because I was just too lazy to workout and I had bad eating habits that I just couldn’t quit.

ReplyMy boss and I worked out at least three days a week after work, well she quit and we are unable to go to the gym anymore. So I have a hard time finding time to workout between 50hrs at work and two kids-homework-etc. I also have stopped smoking after 25yrs and had a hysterectomy Im only 35yrs-hard on me- ughhhhh I need motivation HELP.. Tracy
ReplyLooks like a good workout, count me in on this giveaway.
ReplyThe last “diet” I did was Weight Watchers. I was very successful with it, losing 95 pounds over the course of a year and 1/2. I finally “quit” it because I didn’t feel the need to count points anymore. I’d rather look at the Nutritional Information, and balance out carbs/protein/etc. I’ve gained back about 10 of those 95 lbs, but I continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle with exercise and healthy/cleaner eating without counting “points”.
Replydiets just don’t work
ReplyI gave up on my last diet because I lack willpower especially during the holidays and on special occasions where food is plentiful.
ReplyI quit my last diet because I got sick and got out of the habit. It takes a certain mindset and strict discipline, and I lost it. But I’m going to try to get it back and start all over.
ReplyThe food is too restrictive. One can only last so long when you don’t have much to choose from. Thanks.
ReplyI was doing well on the diet when tragedy hit. My son died this summer. (Why do they call it “comfort food?” It doesn’t comfort.) Since then, I’ve regained over 25 pounds. I need to take them back off.
ReplyJust too busy with classes.
ReplyDesserts. I still exercise and eat healthy, mostly, but the desserts always do me in.
ReplyThe reason why I quit my diet is because I found myself too busy with school work that I couldn’t keep up going to the gym. Also it was during the summer and I didnt have to allocate what I been doing in the freetime during the summer compared to now when I am in school. I did happen to lose 20 pounds during that diet time but half of that has came back. I wish I had mroe time to work out. Just college sucks right now and I really dont want to gain my freshman 15 back again.
ReplyI quit my last diet because I deal with chronic pain from an injury. That chronic pain has gotten the best of me in all areas of my life – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and health wise. I have bad self esteem/confidence. I have tried to workout at different times and my chronic pain holds me back. It is also very hard when I know I have the above mentioned challenges that are things I just have to work thru but then also the lack of support from those around me. I have asked others not to bring the junk food around and seems it is always in the house right in front of me with the excuse “bought it for you honey” I know if its there I will eat it so thats why I dont want it around. I dont struggle with people eating junk around me just buy what your are going to eat. I have improved but still struggle.
Replyit was to difficult to stick to with my current lifestyle.
ReplyI got to caught up with university, just got busy busy and stopped working out and grabbed whatever i could on the go.
ReplyI get too busy to follow my diet and exercise.
ReplyGot lazy and went back to fast food.
ReplyMy last diet failed because I wasn’t eating enough and I got hungry
ReplyI got off course when I got married. My life was happy in so many other areas, it made it hard to focus on doing right by myself with diet. Stupid, but true.
Great giveaway! Thanks!
ReplyI quit my last diet because i was losing weight but the only exercise i could do is walking, i have had 4 back surgeries in the past 2 years so im limited in what i can do. Some exercise requires to much bending and twisting which i cannot do. So needless to say the weight loss was very slow and my will power gave out! the weight shake would be perfect for me, lots of movement but nothing to physical, i would buy one, but im on disability payments and cant afford to buy anything! Thanks for the opportunity to win one!
ReplyI quit my last diet because they never work. I have decided instead to make a lifestyle change forever in my eating habits. I make efforts every day to not look at what I’m eating as a fad but more as a way to fuel my body and to do it with the best food possible. I don’t necessarily always make the right choices — but when I don’t — I get to the next meal and start over. I eat three meals a day and snack on an apple in between then or a piece of string cheece. I drink a lot of water and if I am hungry will eat a bowl of oat meal — no chips or a trip to a fast food joint. Lunch is salad and soup most days. Spray salad dressing (and I don’t count the sprays — I just eat it how I like it). Overall, making this change, and sticking to it I’ve lost 20 pounds and it fluctuates at sometimes 25 in a year. My last died failed. This diet isn’t.
ReplyI quit my last diet because I decided on a new approach. I am focusing on exercise and getting moving. I am currently training for a Feb. climb up Mt Kilimanjaro. I try to be more aware of “why” i’m eating..boredom, actually hungry (real hunger), didn’t eat enough protein/filling foods, etc. I also try to make the “good/health” decision at least 90% of the time and I dont beat myself up for a treat now and again. It’s all about portions for me. I felt my last diet was so much about what not to do….it didnt focus on how to just be healthy.
ReplyI quit my last diet when I started getting tips from eating disorder blogs to make it “better”
ReplyI quit my last diet because school got too busy and I stopped taking the time to cook healthy meals and exercise regularly. Since then, I’ve worked harder to make sure I keep my health as a top priority.
ReplyI have a hard time saying no at work!

ReplyFirst, this is on my Christmas list! Wish, Wish, Wish.
ReplySecond, I quit my last diet b/c our budget shrank and it is cheaper to buy junk than it is to get the health and waistline friendly foods.

I quit due to the fact I am moving house and feel very anxious about it all, so food was my comfort blanket, so to speak. Although I know the affects of a bad diet, it was still difficult to adhere to a sensible diet regime I had put in place previously for myself.
ReplyI quit because the healthier options are so expensive!

ReplyI quit my last diet earlier this year because I became pregnant. I did not want to limit my calories. I gave up a lot of my workout routine becauseI felt too nauseous and tired to do cardio. I still walked though to keep somewhat in shape. Now I need to get back to my previous routine and lose baby weight.
ReplyI quit Weight Watchers because logging in everything I ate was a hassle. I have started it back up though.
ReplyI quit my last diet because not eating carbohydrates made me feel weak and sick! It was unhealthy.
ReplyI quit my last diet because cupcakes are like oxygen.

I quit my last diet because I felt I didn’t have time to eat right
ReplyI quit my last diet because too many people brought in sweet temptations to work and I wanted to partake!
ReplyI don’t call what I do Dieting. I just eat right and make sure I only eat certain things in moderation. To me the word diet has a negative connotation so I just try to stay positive. The one thing that will throw me off is gummy bears! I could eat them for days straight! Thanks!
ReplyI quit my diet because the holidays came along. Thanks.
Replythe reason I quit my last diet was because I got sick and tired of counting points! And I seemed to be hungry all the time.
ReplyI quit my last diet because I started working through some meals and eating bad things because it was too hard to follow the diet at work.
ReplyI exercise, but I haven’t tried a diet in year. I think that diets usually fail. I have been able to give up sugar soda for a little over a year now. I did this because I love sweets, and felt that I was getting too many calories from my soda.
ReplyI am very good with diets and workouts until an event like holidays, vacation etc comes up. Once I go off, it takes a long time to get the willpower to go back on. Thanks for this opportunity to win.
Replyi quit my last diet because the results were coming so slowly, i wanted instant gratification, but i know that it took a long time to get the weight on, so it will take a long time to get it off.
ReplyI haven’t quite quit, I’ve just adjusted my diet through weight watchers.
