FBF Overview

The Fat Burning Furnace diet is a 161 page eBook created by Rob Poulos that started in 2006. Rob is a former overweight person who developed the strategies to lose weight offered in his eBook while trying to lose weight himself. According to Rob, much of the information currently available on weight loss and exercise is deceptive. Instead, his eBook offers easy to follow advice on turning your body into an efficient fat burning system, thereby making you lose unwanted fat and build muscle much faster than you would on other methods.

Fat Burning Furnace Pros and Cons

  • You get immediate access to the PDF eBook via download once you place an order.
  • The Fat Burning Furnace includes vegetarian meal options.
  • Program comes with email coaching.
  • Supplements and meal replacements are not recommended, instead dieters learn how to lose weight by consuming real food.
  • The Fat Burning Furnace includes specific advice for those who have been living a sedentary lifestyle; this group of people often has the most trouble with exercising and changing their eating habits.
  • The program is pretty simple to follow and can fit into a busy schedule. It is also designed for both men and women.
  • Customer feedback is high.
  • The eBook costs around $40 and comes with a 60 day refund policy if the product does not meet your expectations.

  • The diet makes the ultimate claim that in 7 weeks you can lose up to 26 pounds of weight. However, dietician recommendations are that dieters should lose no more than 1 to 2 pounds a week.
  • Only 15 minutes of exercise for 2 to 3 times a week is recommended. Most experts recommend exercise for 30 minutes to one hour for 3 to 5 times a week at minimum.

How Does Fat Burning Furnace Really Work?

The eBook contains over 100 pages of information on losing weight the right way. Several free bonuses are also provided. With the Fat Burning Furnace, dieters are taught to do high intensity resistance training for a 15 minute period to lose weight. They are also taught to eat satisfying food items that keep them from getting hungry. Instead of burning fat, the program focuses on burning carbohydrates, thereby encouraging your body to naturally burn stored fat to replace the carbohydrates lost. Step-by-step guidance teaches you how to maximize your results in the smallest amount of time.

Dietitian's Notes

Dietitian ReviewedMy initial thought was the program was “too good to be true”.  It was a shock to read the program guarantees to help people lose 26 pounds in 49 days.  There is no possible way someone can make that type of guarantee and honor it.  This is another diet that works only because of calorie restrictions and exercise, rather than some secret weight loss discovery.

I disagree with the FBF’s take on the “conspiracy” that the diet industry is trying to keep people over weight.  Eating too much and not exercising enough is the real reason obesity exists. Rob’s five "truths" are bizarre as well, ranging from the obvious "boxed food diets are expensive" to the false "cardio exercise is the worst way to lose weight".

Although one of our cons about this diet is that it requires a home gym or access to a gym in order to perform most of the exercises, there are plenty of resistance exercises you can do to get started and work your way up to a "gym membership".

Fat Burning Furnace Implements 3 Principles to maximize fitness results.

Principal 1 - Intensity
Principal 2 - Volume and Frequency
Principal 3 - Progression

For those that have access to equipment here is a short list of exercises you can expect: Squats, Bent Over Rows, Pull ups, Overhead press, Dips, Shoulder Shrugs, Bent Arm Flies, Tricep pull down, and MUCH MUCH more... The ebook goes into detail on how to do these exercise properly.

The idea is to do high intensity workouts no more than 2 to 3 times per week to allow your body time to recover. For those without gym equipment, there are several recommendations on what exercises you can do from home without equipment on page 92.

Eating and Meal Plans

FBF has over 50 pages dedicated to eating, planning, and understanding what foods will give you the best results. They provide you with recipe ideas, a meal guide, how to create quick snacks, how to enjoy alcohol and treats in moderation, and more. Below is a sample meal plan from page 132 of the ebook.

Rob PoulosEven though the diet makes exaggerated claims, it is not a scam or gimmick, nor does it have any snopes associated with it. The Fat Burning Furnace diet does contain some legitimate information that almost anyone can use such as: restrictions in eating tend to be hard to follow, fad diets are a joke and that most people who follow these methods end up regaining all the weight they lose. It also gives equal attention to exercising and eating real foods to lose weight. Sample meal plans, free recipes online and diet progress trackers that can be printed are also effective weight loss tools. Truth is, although the Fat Burning Furnace may contain some unconventional methods to losing weight the information is pretty solid and most importantly will get you off the couch and making real lifestyle changes. Tried the diet even thought it was definitely not worth the money. After two three weeks of trying the diet I lost nothing. I am a diabetic and don't eat foods containing starches etc. that convert to fat. Just cutting the sugars out of my diet I lost 30lbs without even trying this plan. People USE COMMON Sense! If you eat a bunch of crap and sit home on your keester all day you are going to get fat. Eat vegetables and the right lean meats etc and you will drop the weight. Problem is everyone is LAZY and expects to just magically loose the weight without doing anything. People save your money or if you feel like throwing it away send it to me ;)

What a long winded load of BS. I am totally put off by the amount of talk just going on and on and round and round in circles to tell us nothing! If 50,000 people are on it that means Rob and his wife have made $1,997,500.00 at $39.95 each program. I'm not giving them another cent! If the book goes round and round in circles like the presentation then I'm not going to waste time on it. From the reviews I've read it not some secret new thing but a healthy eating and exercising plan. Rob's not gods gift to the weight industry like it thinks he is. It's a con to get rich.

bought it impulsively tonight and am already disgusted with all the hoops just to look at it. And asking for my email and password.....sorry, no can do. Lesson learned. Should have looked at some reviews before being scammed.

This is a joke, pages and pages of text that can be summed up into a small five page booklet. You don't need to pay some guy $40 to tell you to eat right and do particular workouts. Waste of time reading, waste of money buying. Listening to his presentation while I type this is rich... "You're a number with a dollar attached to it.." Give me back my $40 for this junk I spent 6 months following and lost next to nothing. Meanwhile my brother loses more weight walking down the street and back again. Takes less time to do, free, easy to understand, and gets him out of the house.. Sorry buddy, you're part of that multi-billion dollar a year industry.

More blowhard claptrap than I could tolerate... what a windbag! This guy loves his own voice to distraction. Finally I could not take any more of his tedious air-headed babble. They would get more sales with a scroll button on this obnoxious tape.

A great program.. They also allow you to try the program before you buy it.

Oh and, by the way...if you have to make up NUMEROUS websites pretending to review your own product there's clearly a problem! And Leylani...any ad that is misleading tells me that the seller is a crook. If the product is what he says it is he doesn't have to fill people with 30mins of BS to sell it.

When someone BS's me for god knows how long (I didn't time it and was busy doing other stuff after the first little bit because it was clear it was just bs)by asking a question and never answering it...well I'm pretty sure the whole thing is BS!!

This diet was great if you can follow simple instructions. I think the negative comments are from competitors of this product. No way on Earth all of these negative comments are true.

Holy Crap, What a horrible long add. This company will join the ranks of the other fads. Dont give me 30 min of fluff...

I can't believe how many people are ragging on this diet. I bought it and read the program and it's not a scam. Stop being lazy and try putting some effort into losing weight. Read the ebook and follow the instructions!

thanks for all the reviews..i almost bought thinking maybe he has actually discovered something. It is very redundant and way too long. i have learned to check BBB and get other opinions now due to a few fiascos in the past...saved a few dollars this time!!!

Anyone who CHANGES to eating real food, fruits & vegetables, etc., and BEGINS to work out, even 20 to 30 min., three times a week, will lose weight. DUH. This is the same old same old, pretending to be something it is not. It's one more diet/exercise plan. Calories in/Calories out determines weight loss. Exercise is just in there to make you hard.

I don't like the feedback from the likers or haters... I almost think half of it is made up by the sellers. Sounds like common sense eating and exercise are the way to go.

A waste of money!

This guy thinks he can hypnotise people?.....I study sports science...you can do what you want but the bottom line is muscle takes years to build after the initial first two months of hard slog...So, if you are fat start exercise & cut your portion size down and you will see a difference...Ohh yh and eat what you want..because every thing is nutritious.....Good luck!

I listen to his (FBF) and lost 3 lbs, sure I did...what amazes me is that people would even send him money for such a simple process, which I think is available free @ ur local library..BTW..I do work out @ a gym and found it very healtly, I did turn some fat into muscle and lost about 10 lbs over a year...now the other benefit I got was picking up young woem(30y than me0 and having sex 4-5 time a week with them. IF I wa susuing his system I would have been @ home masterbating
